It was not very useful to someone like me who has been a successful business owner for over 12 years. Gerber is much more informative for those starting out. Success is about being realistic, having a plan, having the financial resources to get thru the cash flow issues and having the perseverance to withstand adversity. It is long hours doing everything when you can't afford to outsource or hire. It is energizing when you are working on the things you love, providing a great service to clients and winning their trust and praise. Nothing is more personally rewarding. It takes discipline to be your own boss. This last year is tough. I start work everyday around 6:30 AM and I am still at it 12 hours later. I would never do that for someone else. I wouldn't have it any other way. Welcome to my world. As long as you are willing to work hard and stay focused you are bound to have at least some success.
