Customer service is a thing of the past and it is now just about the almighty dollar. Granted, looking at my wallet, $2,500 is a big deal, to the services you were trying to use, you are just a number. You mean even less to the "Customer Service" representative working for the company. Do they get any more money if they book you? No. So, in their mind, why should they care.
