• Hi Kevin, Joe ND TJ

Thanks for the nice content. I summarized all important points from different blog posts on Landing Pages. I hope these tips will help me to work better for my client's site.

    Thanks

  • Putting the information capture above the fold is a sound decision to increase conversions. Adding a video is another tried and tested recipe for success.

  • Landing Pages…

Tips that I could offer?.... Thank you for the vote of confidence! Well, you have already covered the main 11 points…

I would add a number 12…. Use N.L.P. (Neural Linguistic Programming) in your scripting… We all have slightly different “Buy Strategies”, depending on our primary Communications Modality…. Visual, Auditory, Auditory Digital & Kinesthetic… One of the main factors in constructing your Landing page is that the last modality we use before “Buying” is our “Kinesthetic” modality…. So appeal to “Feelings”, “Emotions” with the Call to Action….. (Call (Auditory) to Action (Kinesthetic)).. And make sure you use all the other 3 Modalities in your scripting prior to that “Call to Action”….

“The facts have proven and shown and I have heard from most of the experts, that when you see, and hear clearly, what I am saying you will feel good about what I am asking you to do!”

That’s just a short statement with all of the Major Communications Modalities used. It takes some practice but it can help….

Also, last point…. is to TEST, TEST, TEST….

    How do you TEST?

Not an easy question to answer… I actually use several “Traffic Generation Sites” for testing new Landing Pages and Scripting… WORD of CAUTION… I would not recommend these sites to actually generate traffic… These sites are not “Targeted Visitors” to your site…. They blindly “Surf” to gain bonuses to obtain traffic for their sites… The are the least likely to actually take you up on your call to action….

My rational on using them to test is this… If I can get people to actually click through on my Call to Action on these sites,,,, there is a much higher probability that I actually got everything right, and the landing page is ready for posting…

2nd Word of warning…. And I have no real proof on this but, I believe that “If” you generate too many visits from this type of traffic, your site will have a negative impact on rating by Google… Keep in mind the primary reason for using this is to TEST….

The second level of testing after that is the use of “Google Ads” directed to that Landing page…

Just some thoughts… I hope they help others…
