• Mike, that's how I got to it. Here's what I'VE done: found a guy on Slashdot who made an amazing offer. Of course, I didn't believe him, but money-back guarantee, so. I've always wanted to write super copy like that. He'll convert the copy into frontal lobe-absorbable radio waves, send me a CD of it and voila! I'LL BE ABLE TO TURN IT OUT AT WILL. So I sent him a check for $1,999-. Hey, money back guarantee.

  • Absolutely great article. I am going to share it with a ton of people who would get a kick out of it. It's funny, I was looking into Infusionsoft and wanted to find out who to talk with about joining your team and wound up commenting on an article about buying an SUV. You gotta love the internet.

Umm...I think the grammer was perfect for the setting! Excellent funny!
  • Kick A copywriting can have 100 grammar holes in it and still get insane conversion rates. I pride myself on great spelling/grammar skills. With that being said, I was so enthralled in the story, I didn't even notice errors. This is a great piece. Thanks for sharing.

GrammarCop, where in this ad is the writer refering to a person as "that"?
I'm asking honestly here. I've read through it and haven't found what you're talking about.

I enjoyed reading this ad. It was a great bit of fun on an otherwise gloomy day.
  • Grammar perfection or not, this ad on craigslist was golden. I heard he sold his truck the same day. Due to the flood of responses, he took his ad down from CL.

Thanks for the comments GrammarCop and EnglishTeacher. I enjoy your perspectives. :-)

Oh, don't complain...if my students wrote like this they'd all have A's. Don't quibble.

    People are who, not that.
