Hey folks, I wanted to let you know that I’ll be attending the Inbound Marketing Summit that is being held in San Francisco, CA this week. This event will be the epicenter to the variety of folks who specialize in social media, marketing, search engine optimization and public relations. As a community manager, this event is very attractive to be able to learn new tips, strategies and insight that I might have might have missed over time.
I’ll share a ton of information that I’ll soak up like a sponge at #IMS09. I’ll do my best to cut through the chaff and provide you with the wheat of info, best practices, new trends and even advice to apply it all. I’ll even try to sneak in a few quick interviews.
What is Inbound Marketing? Inbound marketing is the process of attracting customers where they come to you, not you finding them. In a nutshell, that’s the best way to describe it. Don’t take my word for it, HubSpot has a great blog entry uncovering examples of Inbound vs. Outbound Marketing. It’s a good read for any entrepreneur or small business owner who wants to make a splash on the Web.
I’m attending as a guest, but am excited to meet with the partners and peers in the industry. Don’t be shy if you see me! ![]()
