Last week, we had our annual user conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was outstanding! We had about 900 entrepreneurs attend InfusionCon 2010. It was fun to see so many customers, to see how Infusionsoft influences their lives and helping them accomplish their dreams as entrepreneurs.
I only wish every one of our roughly 17,000 users could have experienced InfusionCon. I can’t cover everything, but here are a few of my highlights:
- Throughout InfusionCon, I and other Infusionsoft employees shared the basics of the new, simple 3-stage, Double Your Sales Success Path. Simply put, it’s how to be successful using Infusionsoft to grow your business. This is illustrated below.

- The Ultimate Marketer Finalist Presentations from Dustin Matthews, Samantha Bennett, Nicole Root and Bob Britton were outstanding. Bob won the award this year and he earned it. Regardless, seeing what the other finalists did was impressive… and Samantha’s “Ode to the Entrepreneur” was unforgettable.
- John Assaraf’s presentation about “Mastering the Inner Game of Business” was great stuff. I’m a huge believer in the importance of getting your mindset right in order to be successful. John was right on.
- We raised over $25,000 for micro-credit lending in third-world countries. The generosity of our customers is always amazing to me.
- It was great to see our customers get excited about our new Email Builder. It’s powerful yet totally simple and makes sending a beautiful-looking email a snap. It was fun to see and hear the rave reviews. I loved hearing our customers say, “That’s so easy.” Exactly.
- I believe our customers came away with a sense for how much we care about empowering entrepreneurs. I got tons of comments about our culture, our passionate employees, our vision as a company and the way it all impacts customers. I only wish every customer could have attended because as one customer said, “I didn’t know about this side [the culture] of Infusionsoft. It’s your strongest suit. You guys need to do a better job of projecting it.” We will, Darron.
For all our customers who didn’t attend InfusionCon 2010, I have two suggestions: 1) be here next year for InfusionCon 2011; and 2) identify where you are on the Infusionsoft Success Path and take the next step!
