Annual Priorities at Infusionsoft (’09)

May 8, 2009 | by Clate Mask

Not too long ago, I shared our planning methodology with you about Infusionsoft. I talked about our Strategic Intent, Primary Objective, Strategies, Annual Priorities, Quarterly Tactical Operating Priorities (TOPs) and SMARTs. I decided to take a moment to tell you about how this planning methodology plays out at Infusionsoft and tell you about the progress we’re making on our plan.

So, our Strategic Intent is “To become the leading marketing automation software for small businesses.”  It’s a big goal, I know. Our Primary Objective, which is the quantification of accomplishing the Strategic Intent is to get a million subscribers, 250,000 customer accounts and 50,000 of those whom doubled their sales.

I’m sure you probably have heard about our Double Your Sales Guarantee. For us, the Double Your Sales promise helps us serve the customer, put our money where our mouth is and keep score, so to speak, on how we’re doing. It’s really exciting to see our products actually double the sales of entrepreneurs.

We’ve got over 12,000 subscribers, about 2,500 customers and about 500 of them have doubled their sales since using the software. Not bad, considering we only had 1,000 customers at the beginning of last year. But, we’ve still got a long way to go.  We’re really just getting started.

Having that said, I’d like to share with you our 2009 Annual Priorities at Infusionsoft:

  • Launch the Double Your Sales Club, Coaching program and Guarantee
  • Heed the voice of the customer
  • Achieve email excellence
  • Get profitable
  • Build the Infusionsoft Family
  • Enable self-service for our customers

Next week, I’ll give you an update on how we’re doing with each of these priorities. I appreciate your interest and support. The team here is committed to delivering great service to all our customers.

I would love to hear what you’re interested in learning more about our company. Feel free to drop me a note in the comments.

Excellent post. Its refreshing to see a company communicating its current situation and goals in such a transparent way.

You and Infusionsoft are leading by example and are the killer marketing tool for all small businesses. Your frankness and honesty is what Web 2.0 is all about.

I know we could help each other grow our respective Companies through a unique Social Network platform we are about to launch.

Infusionsoft can be the backend and backbone to market, manage and motivate our membership growth.

We could then Affiliate Market your products and services to our business members who could then also become Affiliate Marketers.

I advocate that every business and company should get behind you and Infusionsoft to help you reach your goals and become profitable.

“Infusionsoft is still the best kept secret that needs to be told.”

Health, benefits, and incentives | Your almost famous for these items.

How did you get it all started?

Yes, I’m sure InfusionSoft has many benefits however if I pay for the software but it is not compatible with my website, then why should I still be asked to pay $4000 for software that I’m unable to use? Good question for potential customers to be asking. This is my story….

I purchased the software and was working with my integration coach to integrate the software into my website. Unfortunately it wasn’t compatible and I’m unable to use this expensive infusionsoft software. Now the company says their sorry but pay up! They gave me only 3 days to pay then sent my file to collections. This is important information for potential customers to know prior to spending such large amounts of monye on software that they too won’t know is compatible until they pay!

    Good luck potential customers.

Thanks for keeping us up to date Clate. I agree with Nathan. This kind of transparency is certainly refreshing, particularly for a public company. You can certainly count on me keeping track of your progress and success…after all, it’s directly related to mine.
