I am sitting here staring at the screen and wondering “where do I begin?” I have so much to share with you, but first, let me introduce myself. My name is JoAnne Ravielli, pronounced (ra-vel-lee) and yes, I know it looks a lot like Ravioli. I’m the Vice President of Customer Service and Support and the newest member of the Executive Team. Now that the introductions are done, let me tell you a little about myself.
Welcome to my (first) new blog, I have to say that 2008 was a busy year! I started with Infusionsoft six months ago as VP of Customer Service and Support and have been very busy building out a top-notch support department and improving our services.
For the past 23 years, I have been managing global contact centers and building out professional services and training. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, but I also bring an entrepreneurial spirit. My parents owned and operated their own businesses for many years and I opened my own consulting company a couple of years ago. In fact, a number of our employees at Infusionsoft also have their own businesses so we don’t just talk-the-talk — we live it.
2008 was a fun year but 2009 means buttoning down and making sure that every aspect of our service is scalable and customer focused. Why? Because we expect more and more customers to get empowered and join the Infusionsoft family. We are so sure that Infusionsoft is the right choice for entrepreneurs; we are now offering a “Double your Sales” guarantee. Customer Service and Support wants to be ready to help each and every one of you to make this dream a reality.
I am not all about business. There is one other passion I have …
About a year ago, I opened my own 501(c)3 non-profit rescue and sanctuary for Coatimundi. These furry little animals are so cute; making them easy prey for pet stores to sell as an exotic animal. The unfortunate part of the story is that before they are sold, their canine teeth and claws are removed leaving them defenseless against prey. One thing I find myself saying a lot is, “Not all animals make good pets and not all people make good pet owners.” These poor guys didn’t have a place to go after their owners no longer could care for them, so they were just let free to ultimately suffer a sure death. Not anymore. Right now I have five absolutely precious Coati’s.
I hope you will subscribe to my blog. I’ll be dropping little “best practices” here and there and maybe a few updates on my Coati kids. I’m also toying around with Twitter, so follow me as @JRavielli for my updates.
