Hi, folks. It’s been almost a year since I took over the Infusionsoft Blog, where Clate handed me the keys to car. I want to share that it’s been very rewarding and valuable to be able to regularly provide you with updates on the blog about our company, marketing tips and discussion that is relevant to entrepreneurs.
I’m making some significant (positive) changes to the blog and want your feedback on how we can improve it so it’s even more useful, helpful, and interesting to read. We don’t write for ourselves, we write for you. If you thought to yourself, “Man, I really wish Infusionsoft would blog about…” now is your chance.
For now, I’ve implemented a couple important but small changes to the blog. We migrated over to Disqus (pronounced as “discuss”) for comments and now use Lijit for our search. While these changes are minor, it will help visitors engage more openly and gain access to valuable content that they wouldn’t know existed.
With Disqus, we’re able to allow people to authenticate with their Twitter or Disqus profile and the ability to reply to individual comments, making nested-replies possible. Disqus will also update the mentions and Tweets found about the blog entry. It’s very cool and it’s catching on with people already.
You can try out the Lijit search on the right side of the blog. It will update daily with the latest in search trends and it will search all the Infusionsoft sites (including the Fusebox) for whatever your searching for. I think it’s a great asset that visitors will love. We benefit from Lijit by gaining enhanced visibility into what people are searching for, even if they don’t find it. This transcends a benefit for you because we’ll write more about what you want.
Having that said, I come to you asking for your feedback and suggestions. Please spend a moment and tell me what topics interest you (can even be non-business related) and what you love. If you want someone at the company to blog more, tell us. Perhaps we can work together to light a fire under them to blog more. 
You’re also welcome to tell me what sucks so we can stop doing it and make it better. We’re cool like that and welcome constructive criticism.
